Policies

General Policies:
The Buffalo Burlesque Studio is open to persons of all ages (over 18), genders, body types, races, creeds, etc. Miss J reserves the right to refuse admission to students at her discretion.

Registration Policies:
Preregistration is recommended for all classes. By paying to register you agree to act in accordance with our payment, refund, and class transfer policies. By registering, you declare that you understand that you should consult a doctor before beginning any movement or exercise program, and that you will not hold the teachers, institution, or venue responsible for any injury that may result.

Payments:
All payments will be made through PayPal. Please do not contact us with questions about a PayPal payment you have made unless you include the transaction ID number with your email. This number is in the email you received directly from PayPal immediately after making your payment.

Cancellations:
Students may cancel their registration and receive a full refund by contacting the studio more than 48 hours before the start of class. With less than 48 hours notice, the fee is non-refundable. Students may transfer their registration to the next time the class is offered by contacting the studio more than 24 hours before the start of the class.

Refunds:
-Deposits are non-refundable.
-Fees paid for one class are not transferable to another class.
-If class is cancelled by BBS, prepayments will be refunded, or the student can receive a class credit instead, which will be held for one year.

Parties/Private Lessons/Events:
-If a cancellation is requested please allow 3 full business days before our event to request a refund. (This does not include deposit).
-If the cancellation is required less than 3 full business days before your event then BBS will reserve half of the rest of the cost after deposit.
